Ronnie Elmer Pyles

Ronnie Pyles 72, of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Wednesday March 29, 2017 at home. Ronnie was born March 3, 1945 in Greene County, Pa., son of the late James and Pearl Colvet Pyles. Ronnie retired as an asbestos remover and served in the U.S. Army. Ronnie preceded in death by his parents one brother, Wayne, two sisters, Marilyn Snyder and Janice Allen, one grandaughter, Alicia Newell, and one stepson Jerry VanScyoc and his foster parents Alex and Ethel Eddy. Survived by his wife Linda Huggins Van Scyoc, one daughter Kimberly Pyles of Cleveland, Ohio, three sons Steve Walters of Baltimore, Maryland, Robbie (Rhonda) VanScyoc and Billy Jo (Tammy) VanScyoc all of Moundsville, W.Va., two brothers Leo Pyles of Maples, Fla., James Pyles of Moundsville, W.Va., and daughter-in-law Tina VanScyoc, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Friday March 31, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.Va., where services will be held Saturday April 1, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Sherry Thomas Burton officiating. Burial in Limestone Presbyterian Church Cemetery where the Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard will conduct military honors/
