Norma Allene Maurer Wood Wilson 91, of Big Wheeling Creek, Wheeling, WV.

The hand of the God reached down from the heavens and took our beloved mother and grandmother on Saturday, October 7, 2017. She was born November 27, 1925 in Cameron, WV daughter of the late William and Ivy Jacobs Maurer. A member of the Sand Hill United Methodist Church. Retired from the former Bucheimer Leather Factory of Cameron. Preceded in death by her first husband Russell Wood, second husband, Charles Wilson, three brothers, Louis (Moke), Eugene, and Bernard, and one step son, David Wilson. Survived by one son Gary Wood and wife Lee of Meadow Lands, Pa., three grandchildren David (Sue) Wood of Hartville, Ohio, Eugene (Anna) Wood of Aleppo Pa., and Monica (Chip) Yeater of Washington, Pa. and nine great-grandchildren, two step daughters, Rebecca (Bucky) Walters and Charlotte (Bill) Chaney and one step son Phillip (Nancy) Wilson and their children. Family will receive friends Tuesday October 10, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home 1109 2nd St. & Cremation Services, Moundsville, WV where services will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. with pastor Lisa Fox officiating. Burial at Sand Hill Church Cemetery.
