James Edward Pyles

James Edward Pyles, 76, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Tuesday August 7, 2018 in Cumberland Pointe Nursing & Rehab Center. Jim was born October 6, 1941 in Greene County, Pa. son of the late James and Pearl Colvin Pyles. Jim retired from Ireland Consolidated Coal Company. A U.S. Army Veteran where he served in Vietnam he also was enlisted in the Nation Guard and Army Reserves. Preceded in death by his parents , wife Carol Pyles, brothers, Ronnie, and Wayne, sisters Janice Coater and Marilyn Snyder, infant daughter Janice Sue and foster parents Alex and Ethel Eddy. Survived by three daughters, Tina Pyles (LarryPalmer)) of Moundsville, W.V. Mary (Burr) Schrebe of Pine Grove, W.V. and Sherri Pyles Kelley of Nashua, New Hampshire, one son Keith Pyles of Glen Easton, W.V. one brother Leo (Carol) Gump of Naples, Florida 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and some nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday August 10, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. where services will be held Saturday August 11, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Ron Williams officiating. Interment in Limestone Presbyterian Church Cemetery where The Moundsville Veteran Honor guard will conduct military honors.
