John "JR" Peabody

John Reed "JR" Peabody 44, of Glen Dale, W.V. passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.V. JR was born October 22, 1973 in Wheeling, W.V. son of Phillip "PR" Peabody and the late Patty Harrigan Peabody.

JR was a member of the Glen Dale Volunteer Fire Department with 35 years of service. Owner and Operator of Mobile Locksmith. Graduated from John Marshall High School class of 1991. Preceded in death by his mother and infant twin brother Thomas Norman Peabody. Survived by his father Phillip "PR" Peabody, sister Erin (Bobby) Powell, finance Melanie Blake and step-son Charlie Blake, nephew Xavier Powell all of Glen Dale, W.V. and his beloved dogs Taz and Jaz. Visitation Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. from noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Sherry Mehaffie officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Glen Dale Volunteer Fire Dept. 402 Wheeling Ave. Glen Dale, W.V. 26038.
