Paul Arnold Wendt 89, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Friday May 24, 2019 in Cameron Nursing & Rehab Center. Arnold was born September 25, 1929 in Marshall County son of the late Herman & Gladys Earnest Wendt. A member of the Big Run Christian Church. A U.S. Army Veteran. A self-employed Carpenter. Preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Straight Wendt, one son, Dana Paul Wendt. Survived by one daughter Brenda (Keith) Scherrick and one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Wendt all of Cameron, W.V. one sister, Shirley Chambers of Michigan; six grandchildren, David Scherrick of McMechen, W.V.; Kelly Scherrick of Waynesburg, Pa.; Jason Scherrick of Cameron, W.V. Melissa Ryan of McMechen, W.V.; Carrie (Patrick) Waldman of Rayland, Ohio; John Wendt of Moundsville, W.V. ; two great granddaughters, Allie Rine and Gracelyn Sue Waldman and some nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday May 28, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Big Run Christian Church, Cameron, W.V. with pastor Earl Shaw officiating. Burial in Big Run Christian Church Cemetery. The Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct military honors. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services.
