Jim Ball

James "Jim" Robert Ball 81, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Friday July 26, 2019. Jim was born May 20, 1938 in Fairmont, W.V. son of the late Dorsey & Mary Vincent Ball. He was a retired truck driver. Jim was a very well known musician in the Ohio Valley and loved to play his saxophone . Preceded in death by one daughter Mary Cunningham, granddaughter Kylie Elizabeth McClead and son-in-law Ronnie McClead. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Janet Chaddock Ball, daughter Polly McClead of Moundsville and son, Tim (Laurie) Ball of Colerain, Ohio; grandchildren, Melissa, Megan, Tyler, Mallory, Nathan, Jacob and Haley and four great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 4-6 p.m. with services beginning at 6 p.m. with Pastor Ron Williams officiating at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V.
