Hester Slaughter

Hester Virginia Hall Slaughter 85, of Smithfield, WV passed away Sunday April 26, 2020. She was born February 5, 1935 in Wheeling WV daughter of the late Cornelious and Hester Pearl Henry Slaughter. A Christian by faith. Preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Slaughter in 2013, one grandson, George Martin Jr. Survived by one brother, Sam (Mary) Hall of Moundsville, WV ; five daughters, Beverly (Clayton) Sumner, Edna (George) Martin, Melva Gunnoe, Jennie (Larry) Heintzman, Nova (Tom) Fonner and four sons, Cornelious Slaughter, Donnie (Lola) Slaughter, Robert Slaughter, Hollis Slaughter and numerous grandchildren , great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Rector officiating.
