George Houston Hartley 61, of Cameron Nursing & Rehab Center, Cameron, W.Va.,

passed away February 19th, 2017 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, GlenDale, W.Va. He was born September 20th, 1955 in Moundsville, W.Va., son of William & Phyllis

Hartley. Retired employee of the West Virginia Dept. of Corrections as a guard at the former W.V. Penitentiary of Moundsville. Preceded in death by his father and one brother Jeff. Survived are his mother of Cameron Nursing Rehab Center, his former wife Faye Varner Hartley of Wind Ridge, Pa. one daughter Kaylene Ward finance ( Brandon Cameron) of Wind Ridge, Pa. one sister Cathy (Larry) Wayt of Phoenix, Arizona, two brothers Robert William (Winnie) Hartley of Moundsville, W.Va., and Randy (Mary) Hartley of Loretta, Ky. three grandchildren Anthony, William. and Jackie several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday February 23, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.Va. from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. with pastor Michael Eskridge officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family.
