Katherine McCamick

Katherine May (Ross) McCamick 65, passed away Saturday April 13, 2024  of Bridgeport, Ohio; She was born October 6, 1958 in Wheeling, WV daughter of the late Joseph & Evelyn Beaver Ross Jr. She retired from the Wheeling Eagles as a bartender. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl McCamick, one sister, Madeline Defrank, one grandson, Denzil McGlaughlin. Survived by  two daughters, Angel McGlaughlin of Bridgeport, Ohio and Missy; one son, James Sacco Jr, of Bellaire, Ohio; four sisters, Mintie, Annie, Betty, Cleona and one brother, Joseph  (Jenny) Ross Jr. of Martinsferry, Ohio; two granddaughters, Amber Sacco (Brian) Thompson of Triadelphia, WV  and Shayla Marple of Bridgeport, Ohio; whom she devoted and selflessly  raised and cared for her granddaughters, also 7 other grandchildren, Dawn, Michelle (Hector) Jimmy, Aerial, Mikia, Kayla Kayden, five great-grandchildren, Bensen, Brantley, Paisley, Skye, and  Da'vina, she cherished all her grandchildren her influence will continue to shape her grandchildren and those of their children and some nieces and nephews.  She was the heart that held everyone together.
