Larry Holtz Jr.

Lawrence "Larry" Henry Holtz Jr., 66, of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away December 8, 2017 in Cleveland Clinic. Larry was born January 22, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pa., son of the late Lawrence Henry Sr. and Mary Cathele Holtz. A member of the Cameron Baptist Church. Larry was ordained as a Southern Baptist Minister, having served at T.A. Truck Stop of Dallas Pike, W.V. and Pastor of Solid Rock Baptist Church of Hundred, W.V. also Associate Pastor of Cameron, W.V. and presently Pulpit Supply for the Upper Ohio Valley Baptist Association. Survived by his wife Doris Holtz, two sons Lawrence (Lori) Holtz lll of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Hans (Jennifer) Holtz of Mansfield, Ohio and one sister Rosemary (James) Wood of Cameron, W.V.; two brothers Frank (Shirley) Holtz of Waynesburg, Pa. and Charles "Chuck" (Judy) Holtz of Cameron, W.V. five grandchildren Gabby, Wesley, Alania, Emma, and Kylie and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday December 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Cameron Baptist Church 62 Squirrell Alley Cameron, W.V. 26033 also Wednesday December 13, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Kelley and Ed Goodman officiating.
