Clarence Wayne "Bill" Emery

Clarence Wayne "Bill" Emery 79, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Friday August 31, 2018 after a long hard fight. Bill was born August 25, 1939 on Carmichael's Lane Marshall County son of the late Clarence & Ruby Hartley Emery. He was employed by United Stamping, Bobby Brooks and retired from the West Virginia Dept. of Highways. A Moundsville Volunteer Fireman for over 30 years and served as a past Assistant Chief. In Bill's teen years, Bill lived with Harry and Virginia Scott on McCreary's Ridge, Limestone, W.V. Preceded in death by four siblings, Dorothy Ebbert, Hubert Blaine Emery, Deloris Jean Finnegan and Helen McMasters. Survived by one sister Garnet Ilene Emery and one brother, Joseph Michael Emery, one son Brian Emery; brother-in-law Dick McMasters of Cameron, W.V. nieces, Connie Fox, Carolyn Hill, nephews, Bon Finnegan, Tom Finnegan, Alan Ebbert, Mike Emery, and Jeff Emery. Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V.
