Alvin Gorby

Alvin Martin Gorby 79, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Friday September 13, 2019. Alvin was born April 5, 1940 in Moundsville, W.V. son of the late Martin & Amanda Williams Gorby. He retired from Cameron Tire. Preceded in death by his parents, son, Steral Martin Gorby, one brother Charles Gorby. Survived by his wife of 18 years Selenia Smith Gorby, two daughters, April Dallison of Cameron, W.V. and Paula Gorby of Waynesburg, W.V. and one son Timmy Gorby od Carmichaels, Pa. and two step daughters, Inez (David) Ratcliffe of Charleston, W.V., and Amy (Jimmy) Cunningham of Charleston, Pa.; ten brothers and sisters, Sue Prerdergast, Larry Gorby, Joe (Susan) Gorby, Thomas Gorby, Nellie Tustin, Wanda Vitagliano, Don (Mary) Gorby, Erma Jean Barnhart, Frank (Mary) Gorby, Christina ccharlie) Johnson, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Wednesday September 18, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, W.V. with Pastor Steven Jumper officiating.
