James Pettit

James Earnest Pettit 83, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Tuesday March 17, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital. He was born February 21, 1937 in Cameron, W.V. son of the late Harry and Mabel Miner Pettit. Retired from LCP Chemical. A member of the Wolfe Run Baptist Church. Preceded in death by one son, David Wayne Pettit. Survived by his wife Cheerful Welling Pettit, two daughters, Ellen (Ben) Allman of Cameron, WV and Lois (Gary) Sutor of Cleveland, Ohio; one son, Harry (Lori) Pettit of Cameron, W.V. two sisters, Ruby (Ronald) Hoffman of Moundsville, WV and Alice (Carroll) Fox of West Finley, Pa. grandchildren, Michael Shane (Julie Ann) Allman, Aaron (Autumn Mayle) Allman, Rachel Ellen Suter (Eric Spaeth), two great-grandchildren, Anna & Abby Allman and many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Jimmy Higginson officiating, Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, W.V.
