Harrison Fletcher Chambers, 88, of Chamber's Lane Wheeling, W.V passed away Friday June 17, 2016 at home. Harrison was born October 19, 1927 in Clouston, W.Va. son of the late Francis and Ella Fletcher Chambers. He was retired from Columbia Gas Company as an equipment operator. He was a member of the Clouston United Methodist Church. An Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Preceded in death by infant son Harrison Fletcher Jr.; four sisters, Letha Bartrug,

Eva Ludwig, Thelma Otte and Lavonne Strope. Survived by his wife, Dorothy Dunn Chambers; one daughter Tina Riggle of Wheeling, W.V. one son David (Lori) Chambers of Cottage Grove, MN; two sisters Neda Mae Kellas and Alma Heilman both of Warwood, W.V.; one brother Arnold Chambers of Glen Easton, W.V.

five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Saturday June 18, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday June 19, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at The Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. where services will be held Monday June 20, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Shawn Boren & Pastor Michael Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in Wolfe Run Baptist Church Cemetery where the Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard will conduct military honors.
