Charles Holtz

Charles Henry Holtz 76, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Monday August 3, 2020 Chuck was born May 2, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pa. son of the late Henry and Mary Cathele Holtz. He attended Nebo United Methodist Church. A Police Officer for the City of Cameron for 34 years. A school bus driver for Greene County for 10 years. A US Army Veteran where he served on the Military Police for 6 years. Preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Pastor Larry Holtz. Survived by his loving wife, Judith Scherrich Holtz, daughter Catherine Holtz Horvath of Barnesville, Ohio; one sister, Rosemary Wood of Cameron, WV; one brother, Frank (Shirley) Holtz of Waynesburg, Pa., two grandchildren, Jacey Horvath and Hank Horvath and several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Anderson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, WV from1:00 p.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Wilfong.
