Anthony “Tony” Fell, 74, of Holbrook, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 18, 2026. Born on June 21, 1951, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Anthony and Geraldine (Cole) Fell.

Tony was a 1970 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School, where he played football and ran track for the Rockets. He dedicated many years of service to the West Greene School District and eventually retired in 2013. During his time there, he took great pride in maintaining the athletic fields, ensuring they were always ready for the athletes.

A skilled carpenter, Tony enjoyed building and creating different things. He was also deeply

passionate about coaching and mentoring youth. He began his coaching career in the 1970s

with Carmichaels Little League football and continued for decades throughout Greene County.

After moving to the West Greene Community, he coached softball and baseball, including teams

such as the Pine Bank Women’s Slow Pitch Softball Team and New Freeport Baseball. One of his

greatest accomplishments was coaching both his daughter and granddaughter in Rogersville

Little League softball.

Tony’s greatest joy in life was his family, especially his granddaughters. He never missed a dance

recital, volleyball or basketball game, or track meet. He was always their biggest fan, offering

constant love and support. On October 14, 2020, he married Kim (Minor) Fell, who survives. He is also survived by his daughers, Angela (Joe) Barner of Holbrook and Aimee Shepherd of Idaho; his son, Doug Ealy of Red Hill, Pennsylvania; six beloved granddaughters, Erika (Jeremy) Dell, Sarah Ealy, Brooke Barner, Haylie Jo Barner, Kendall Barner, and Olivia Shepherd; and two great-granddaughters, Violet and Scarlett Dell. He is also survived by his sister, Jennie Helmantoler of Carmichaels, along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to honor Tony’s life at a Celebration of Life, which will be

announced at a later date once travel arrangements have been made for out-of-town family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Greene Sports Boosters

(supporting Basketball, Volleyball, or Track and Field), 1352 Hargus Creek Road Waynesburg, PA

15370. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V.
