Mike C. Cumpston

Michael C. "Mike" Cumpston, 64 formally of Cameron, W.Va. passed away Saturday April 11, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

 He was born February 19th, 1962, son of the late John Henry & Hanna Jean (Robinson) Cumpston.  Also preceded by one nephew, Dr. Wm J. Cumpston and brother-in-law, Sherwood Dobbs. Mike graduated from Cameron High School in 1980.  Mike was a Christian by faith and was baptized at the Clouston Methodist Church. He loved horses and competed in barrel racing, loved the outdoors, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mike leaves behind a large and loving family including his siblings, Keith (Sandy) Cumpston, Karen (Homer) Mickey, Vicki Dobbs, Johnny (Debbie) Cumpston, Jeff (Tammy) Cumpston, Jimmy (Debbie) Cumpston and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Tuesday April 14, 2026, from 3-7 p.m. and Wednesday April 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m.  at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. with Pastor Danny O'Neil officiating. Interment immediately following to Big Run Christian Church Cemetery.
