Delbert Marshall VanScyoc

Delbert VanScyoc, 82, of Moundsville. W.Va. passed away Saturday February 4, 2017 in Liza's Place Wheeling, W.Va. Delbert was born April 26, 1934 in Whet Stone, West Virginia son of the late William and Bessie Hall VanScyoc. He retired from Consolidated Coal Company. Preceded in death by his parents six brothers and one sister. Survived by his wife Sylvia Chipps VanScyoc, two daughters Pam (Mike) Melott of Bellaire, Ohio and Debbie VanScyoc (Tim Guzek) of Moundsville, W.Va. four sons Louis (Patty) VanScyoc of Fish Creek, W.Va., William VanScyoc, Eldron "Otis" VanScyoc, Keith VanScyoc, one sister Rachael Ostrander all of Moundsville, W.Va. five grandchildren, Craig (Opal) Brown, Brianna (Roger) Rush , Kristin (Robert) Carney, Anthony Carr, and Kevin Brown, and nine great-grandchildren Shasta Brown, Chloe Brown, Madison Rush, McKenna Rush, Kaidence McCloud, Tayson Carney, Jaxxen Walters, Peyton Brown and Ryder Brown and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Monday February 6, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.Va. where services will be held Tuesday February 7, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. till time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Tom Rentflow officiating. Interment will follow in Limestone Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Liza's Place Care Center South 308 Mt. Joseph Rd Wheeling. W.Va. 26033.
