Bernard Phillip Markey

Bernard Phillip Markey 54, of Moundsville, W.Va. passed away Wednesday February 8, 2017 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. Bernie was born April 9, 1962 in GlenDale, W.Va., son of Bernard and Hazel Fry Markey. He was a member of the US Navy and the US Army Reserves. Retired from the UPS as a loader. Preceded in death by his father and two brothers Dino Markey and Anthony Markey. Survived by his mother of Moundsville, two brothers Michael Markey and Tom (Debbie) Markey all of Wheeling, and sister-in-law Michelle Strong of Moundsville and some nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Monday February 13, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.Va. from 1:00 p.m.
