Herman Walker Blake, 84 of Glen Easton, W.Va., slipped quietly from his earthly bonds on Sunday, April 16, 2017. Herman married Evelyn (Greathouse) in 1961

and was blessed to raise three children and see them all married and blessed with four grandchildren; daughter Barbara (Glen) Guthrie parents of Kathleen and Aleliese, son Michael (Jane) Blake parents of Dylan and Emily, daughter Kara (Richard) Blake and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Herman was the 7th child

of the late Randall Ray Blake and Orpha Irene Dobbs and lived his entire life in Glen Easton, W.Va., aslo preceded in death by seven siblings; Norwood, Ermel, Lynduff, Floyd, Beulah, Marie, Harland and Curt. Herman was a U.S. Army veteran. Retired from Mull Machine of Wheeling.Family will receive friends at the Ash Avenue Church of Gos, 127 Ash Ave. Moundsville, W.Va., Tuesday April 18, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday April 19, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor C.J. PLogger officiating. The Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct military honors. Entombment in Park View Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Liza's Place 308 Mt. Joseph Rd.
