Edward Gibson Strope

Edward G. Strope, 81 of Cameron, W.Va., passed away Friday April 28, 2017 in Liza's Place. He was born November 18, 1935 in Cameron, W.Va. He is the son of the late Russell and Mildred Yocum Strope. He is retired from the B&O Railroad and Coronet Foods Inc. Preceded in death my his wife Lavonne Strope. Survived by five daughters Debbie (Chuck) Sheedy of Cameron with whom he resided; Cheryl (Conrad) Vogelsang of Downingtown, Pa.; Suzanne (Donnie) Newland of Wheeling; Denise Speece of Clarington, Ohio.; Stacey (Steve) Brown of Bellaire, Ohio;

five sons Kevin Strope of Cameron, W.V., Terry (Jodi) of Boyton, Ohio; Robert (Laurie) of St. Clairsville, Oh; Randy of Yorkville, Oh; and Ronnie (Patty) of Washington Lands, W.Va., seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; one sister Carla (Russell) Strahl of Wheeling, W.Va., four brothers Roger (Mae) Strope, Dan (Joyce) Strope, Gary (Ricki Jo) Strope all of Cameron, W.Va., and Charles (Sharon) Strope of Moundsville, W.Va., several nieces, nephews and cousins.
