David Beresford
Loving husband of Judy (Carter) Beresford for 47 years. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who was a wonderful protector and provider for his family, whom he truly loved and was loved by his wife and family. A loyal friend of many, a great leader at work and at play, with a generous heart of gold and a unique and entertaining sense of humor. He enjoyed old westerns, the price is right, sports, hunting, fishing, drag racing, playing softball, and four wheeling in his younger years.
He was a retired pipefitter and pipeman for Local 798 and a welder at Ormet.
He was a christian by heart. Preceded in death by his father, brother Rick Beresford Sr., brothers-in-law Hubert "Butch" Carter and Benjamin Herring, in-laws Thelma and Dorse "Dub: Carter. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife; sons Barry (Susan Fitzpatrick) of Pleasant Valley, Bryon (Janda) of Pickerington, Ohio; and Bruce (susan) Beresford of St. Clairsville, Ohio; daughter Becky (bobby) Coffman of Cadiz, Ohio; granddaughters Hannah Beresford and Aubrey Coffman; grandsons,
Kaleb Coffman, Kage, and Kannon Beresford; brothers Randy (Jody) Beresford of Cameron, W.V. and Jeff (Julie) Beresford of Wheeling, W.V. sisters-in-law Joy (Jr.)
Anderson, Barbara Herring and Marie Carter and many nieces, nephews and cousins and a family friend and caregiver Nick Coffee. A memorial celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 20th 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until time of services at 5:00 p.m. at the Ryerson Baptist Church, West 397 Furman Highway, Wind Ridge, Pa. 15380 with Pastor Larry Holtz and Phil Campbell officiating.
