Janet Hill

Janet Hill 60, of Moundsville, W.Va. passed away on Wednesday September 6, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born on July 10, 1957. She is the daughter of Jerry & Dorothy Lucas. She will join her mom eternally where cancer can do them no more harm. Janet worked as a supervisor at Goodwill for many years until leaving her position in 2016 when not working, she wore many hats. She was a Nana, a wife, a

mother, a daughter, a sister. and a friend. She was the kind of Nana who never

missed an opportunity to track her grand daughter's sporting events, the kind of friend who loved sharing sarcasm and whit, would advocate for what she believed to be right, and shared her humor with all who knew her. She adored her furbabies, Roxie and Scooby, was a second mother to many kids over the years while raising her own children, and a caregiver in the times she was needed. She was a blessing to all who knew her and will truly be missed. In addition to her father Jerry, Janet is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years Kenneth (Buddy) Hill of Moundsville;

brothers Ronnie Harrison of Bethlehem, W.Va., and Tim Harrison of Moundsville, W.V.; her two children, son Kenneth (BJ) Hill of Moundsville, W.Va., daughter Tracy Hill Moda and her favorite son-in-law John Moda both of Vandenberg AFB, CA,; her two granddaughters Laikyn and Harley Moda; step brothers Rusty and Jerry Lucas; step sister Deena White. Visitation will be received on Saturday September 9, 2017 from

11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.Va. Officiating Pastor Donald Lucas. Burial immediately following at Riverview Cemetery. Bereavement dinner will be at the Moundsville
