Marvin Hoyt

Marvin Junior Hoyt 88, of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Saturday September 23, 2017 peacefully with his loving family by his side. He was born March 23, 1929 in Wetzel County on Long Run, son of the late Julian and Freda Pyles Hoyt. He was a retired employee of the former Triangle Conduit Cable Company. A member of the Cedar Avenue Church of Christ, where he served as an elder for 36 years and taught Adult Bible Study for 31 years. Preceded in death by his wife Etta Deloris Whitlatch Hoyt, grandson Adam Elijah, brother Raymond Hoyt. Survived by his children Shirley (Mike) Baird of Shirley, W.Va., Dale (Charlotte) Hoyt, Diana Martin & fiancee Dan Butler, and Ron (Judy) Hoyt all of Moundsville, W.Va., two sister Frances (Ray) Whiteman of Parkersburg, W.Va., Ida Campbell of Beallsville, Ohio; two brothers Ralph (Nora) Hoyt of Moundsville, W.Va., and Charles (Theressa) Hoyt of Cameron, W.Va., eight grandchildren Christi (Jason) Bootz of Elm Grove, David (Brenda) Baird of King George, Va.; Brian (Cindy) Baird of Newport News, Va., Sarah (Alex) Knight of Brooklyn, NY, April (Jay) Arritt of Moundsville, W.Va., Amy (CC) Allensworth od Shadyside, Oh,; Jennifer (Kevin) Foster and Rebekah (Matt) Ali all of Moundsville, W.Va., twenty one great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Monday September 25, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St.

Moundsville, W.Va. where services will be held Tuesday September 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Evangelist Tony Huntsman & Brian Price officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Amedisys 1251 Warwood Ave. Wheeling W.V. 26003
