Robert "Bob" Cain

Robert "Bob" Raymond Cain, 85, of Cameron, WV passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at OVMC, Wheeling, WV. He was born March 27, 1932 in Hundred, WV son of the late Elmer Franklin and Bessie McMasters Cain. Bob was a Korean War Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #18 Cameron. He worked

at the former Marx Toy Plant and was a Weigh Master for WVDOT for 24 years. In his younger days, he enjoyed racing cars, pitching horseshoes and playing cards with family and friends, Later in life, he enjoyed his grandchildren, his cat Snowball, playing golf, riding his lawn tractor, telling stories, and singing ornery songs to anyone willing to listen. Preceded in death by six brothers, Virgil, Junior, Neil, Roy, Billy, and Jack; four sisters, Silverine, Lucille, Louise, and Emely; and a grandson Jeremy Adam Cain. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Rosemary Conaway Cain, one brother Albert of Ohio; two sons Robert (Cindy) Cain of Cameron, WV and Roger (Shelia) Cain of Port Orange, Fl.; four grandchildren; Robert (Charlotte) Cain of Moundsville, WV; five great-grandchildren Austin, Hanna, Shaleigh, Abigail, Kendall and a sixth one due April 2018 and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends Saturday October 7, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial services at 4:00 p.m. at the Big Run Christian Church Cameron, WV

with pastor Earl Shaw officiating, followed by military honors by the American Legion Post #18 Cameron. Interment at the convenience of the family. Arrangements By Anderson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services.
