John Earl Williams

'It is with great sadness that the family of John Earl Williams, 70 announces his passing on April 10, 2018 in Moyock, N.C. after a brave battle with cancer. He was born to Earl Williams and Betty Williams on August 6, 1947. He was a native of Cameron, WV but spent much of his life in New Martinsville, W.V. as well Virginia and North Carolina, He was an Army Veteran and worked in the telecommunications industry for over 40 years. He was a devoted, hard working and loving husband. He instilled compassion, love, and loyalty in his children, all whom felt loved and cherished in his presence. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 48 years, Janet, his children Craig (Wendy) Shanan (Pete)

Stephanie (Jason), Chris (Gevony), Stacy (LG), and Christian and nine grandchildren. He will also be forever remembered by his siblings Bob (Debbie), Christine (Andy),

Nancy (Dan),Allen (Carol), and Bob (Patricia). He will be joining in heaven his parents, sisters Janet and Mary Lou and his grandson Cody. He put up a remarkable fight and we are so proud of him. We will miss his kind heart, offbeat sense of humor. To the best husband, father, and grandfather, our hero, we love you and miss you. Family will receive friends Friday April 13, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, W.V. where services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with Bishop Marty Evers officiating.
