Edward Norris Sr.

Edward Martin Norris Sr., 71, of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Thursday July 26, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Ed was born September 19, 1946 in Glen Dale, W.V. son of the late Floyd E. and Mary Ellen Magers Norris. A member of the Ash Avenue Church of God of Moundsville. A United States Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. Retired from the West Virginia Divisions of Highways. Preceded in death by his parents, and step father Robert Fletcher, five brothers and sisters, Floyd Jr. Norris, Delorse Wagner, Vera Henderson, Nellie Mae Long, and Charles Norris Sr. Survived by his wife Linda Nice Norris, three sons Edward Norris Jr., Floyd (Sherry) Norris and Joshua Norris all of Moundsville, W.V. and one brother Thomas (Louise) Norris Sr. of Wheeling, W.V. five grandchildren Hunter, Austin, Fisher, Kaylee, Jayden, and one expected granddaughter, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Sunday July 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. where services will be held Monday July 30th, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor C.J. Plogger officiating. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Garden where the Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard will conduct military honors. Please scroll down for condolences or share a memory of Ed.
