Burdette Galentine

Otis Burdette Galentine 71, of New Martinsville, W.V. passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in Oakland VA Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. Burdette was born October 3, 1947 in Greene County, Pa. son of the late Dwight & Iris Blake Galentine.

A US Army Vietnam Veteran. Retired from W.V. Department of Corrections. A member of the American Legion Post #18 Cameron, W.V. Preceded in death by son Ted " Bubby" Neely, sister Barb Ewin and one grandson Christian Mackey. Survived by his wife of 49 years Peggy Ann Courtwright Galentine, one daughter Connie (Colby) Crandell of Clearfield, Pa. and son Ronald (Candi) Galentine of Moundsville, W.V. ; brother Veril "Butch" Blake of Stwartstown, Pa., seven grandchildren, Johnwa Roser, Josh Mackey, Ronald Lee, Catelyn, Brody, Kolt, Kacie Galentine, and eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. where services will be held Monday October 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with the Moundsville, Veteran Honor Guard conducting Military Honors.
