Ronald "Scooby" Laney

Ronnie Gene "Scooby" Laney, 61, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at home. Ronnie was born October 12, 1957 in Wheeling, W.V. son of the late Raymond & Ruth Caldwell Laney. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. A member of the Cameron American Legion Post #18 and Loyal Order of Cameron Moose #1057. Retired from Pipeliners Union #798. Preceded in death by his twin brother Donald Laney, and sister Wanda Rae Wild. Survived by his wife Barbara Scherrick Laney, two stepsons, Roger (Lynsey) Littleton and their daughter Willow of Johnstown, Pa. and Robert (Rachel) Littleton and their children Austin & Shay all of Cameron, one brother Kelley (Barbara) Laney of Okeechobee Fla., mother-in-law Edna Scherrick of Cameron, W.V. some nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Tuesday November 27, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, W.V. where services will be held Wednesday November 28, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with pastor Steven Jumper officiating.
