James Pittman

James Monroe Pittman 81, of Washington Lands, W.V. He was born April 21, 1937 in Reader, W.V. son of the late John and Mildred Booth Pittman. I kept my appointment (Hebrews 9:27) and entered into the "sleep of death" (John 11: 11-14)

on Sunday December 23, 2018 at home. James was a U.S. Army Veteran. James was a Sabbath Keeper. Retired from Columbia Gas. Preceded in death by one sister, Marilyn Pittman. Survived by his wife Eva Hutson Pittman, one daughter Rebecca (Kurt) Myer of Moundsville, W.V. and one son John "Wayne" (Amy) Pittman of Fredericksburg, Va. three brothers, Roland (JoAnn) Pittman, Dale (Mary Jo) Pittman,

and Mike (Robin) Pittman all of Reader, W.V., four grandchildren, Serena Wise, Darren Pittman, Kimberly Myer, and Albert James Myer, and three great-grandchildren, Chase, Austin, Briar, and some nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Thursday December 27, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Annette Carper officiating. The Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard will conduct military honors. I will be resting at Park View Memorial Garden until I am Resurrected to eternal life at the return of Jesus the son of God. (I Thessalonians 4:16) So long for now) I Love you all.
