Carol Neely

Carol Jean Stanton Neely 72, of Glen Easton, W.V. passed away Tuesday April 2, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Carol was born August 12, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pa. daughter of the late Irvin David and Gloria Webber Stanton. A member of the Fork Ridge First Christian Church. Retired from Marshall County Schools as a school bus driver with 29 years of service also a self-employed hairdresser for 20 years. She was involved with Quarter Horse Congress, Marshall County Fair and loved to bowl. Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jeanette Webber. Carol is survived by her loving cowboy & husband Larry Neely of 45 years, children Tammy (David) Swaggart of Norton, Ohio; Larry (Diane) Neely of Lebanon, Pa; Steve (Carol) Neely, Tim Neely all of Glen Easton, W.V. and Brian (Cindy) Neely of Palmyra, Pa.; eight siblings, Richard Webber, Joan Marrero, Gloria Gingrich, Denise Neely, John Webber, Cindy Neely, Tom Webber, all of Palmyre, Pa., and Pat Webber of Poolsville, Md. 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and she leaves behind her good friend Vickie McMillen. A big thank you to Amedisys Home Hospice for the compassionate care you have given our sweet sister and her family. Family will receive friends Friday April 5, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Service 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. where services will be held Saturday April 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Ronald Williams officiating.
