Trudy Daugherty

Trudy Kay Swartz Daugherty 75, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Saturday June 29, 2019 at home. Trudy was born September 11, 1944 in Kane, Pa. daughter of the late Irvin & Alice Kellar Swartz. She was a Dispatcher for the City of Cameron, Assistant City Clerk for the Cameron Police Dept. and also retired from the EMT Squad. Preceded in death by her parents, one son-in-law Daniel Todd and one sister-in-law Joan Swartz. Survived by her loving husband Donald Daugherty, two daughters, Rhonda (Rodney) Snyder of Onancock, Va.; Melissa Todd of Fayetteville, Pa. two sons, Ronald (Kelly Jo) Daugherty of Moundsville, W.V. and Randy (Angelica) Daugherty of Floyd, Va.; two sisters, Beverly Harrigan of Wheeling, W.V. and Cathy (David) Esposito of Wichita, Kansas; two brothers Irvin Swartz Jr. of Lewis Run, Pa. and Donald (Elsie) Swartz of Andover, N.Y. six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family would like to thank Valley Hospice for all their extraordinary care for Trudy and their family. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice 988 E Cove Ave. Wheeling, W.V. 26003 Family will receive friends Monday July 1, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville W.V. where services will be held Tuesday July 2, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Steven Jumper officiating.
