Edith Postlethwaite

Edith Chaplin Postlethwaite 100, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Sunday September 15, 2019 at Cameron Nursing & Rehab Center. Edith was born July 29, 1919 in Marshall County daughter of the late John and Mary Gable Chaplin. A member of the Church of Christ Cameron, W.V. She was employed in an early career at Cyrtiss Wright Aircraft Co. in Columbus, Ohio and assembled Hell Diver Airplanes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and granddaughter Lori Smith in 1991, brother, Frank, Howard, Loy, Delbert, and sisters, Almeda Leichter, and Eldean Komorowski, Evelyn Riter, Alberta Cheon. Survived are daughters, Jane Ann (Fred) Smith and Donna Smith all of Cameron, W.V. two sons, Robert (Mary Ann) Postlethwaite of Aleppo, Pa. Richard (Torie) Postlethwaite of Martins Ferry, Ohio;

sister, Marlene DeMarco, of Clifton, NJ; and brother, Arch Chaplin. of California, and best friend Marietta Vucelich, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
