Rev. James Jennings

Reverend James Walter Jennings 80, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Wednesday September 25, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital with his loving family by his side. James was born July 3, 1939 in Wetzel County son of the late Walter and Grace Allison Jennings. Jim retired from Ormet Primary Aluminum Corporation with over 30 years of service. A member of the Harvest Baptist Church, loved preaching, fishing hunting, and the Atlanta Braves and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by a daughter Karen Lee, grandson, James W. Jennings lll, and multiple brothers and sisters. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Laura Rader Jennings, sons, Jimmy (Wanda) Jennings of Proctor, W.V., Tom Jennings of Jacksonburg, W.V. Kenny Jennings of N.C.; Tim (Shelly) Jennings of Martins Ferry, Ohio; daughters Kim Jobes of Moundsville, W.V. and Connie (Harry) Midcap of Proctor, W.V. five sisters, Shirley VanScyoc of Virginia, Betty Allman, Carol Barker and Sandy Loy all of Moundsville, W.V. Linda Greathouse of Proctor, W.V. and one brother, Donnie Sapp of Warren, Ohio; grandchildren, Amanda (Johnathon) Patterson, TonIa (Frank) Gonchoff, Tina Staniford, Donny (Rachael) Standiford, Tony Jennings, Eric Jennings, Brittany (Rocky) Roberts, Matthew (Jordan) Jennings, Devin Jennings, Ashley (Brandon) Sinclair, Kala (Abraham) Dyck, Latasha Midcap, great-grandchildren, Logan, Ella, Kipton, Devin, Drew, Tiffany, Ryan, Rayln, Jesse, Tony Jr., Bella, Shane, Gianna, Dom. Liam, Jocelyn, Eli, Landyn, Alexis, Kohlton, Kaitlyn, Kamdyn, Alexander, Mackenzie and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Friday September 27, 2019 at the Anderson Funeral Home 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. also on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 11:30 at the Harvest Baptist Church 1207 Covert St. Moundsville, W.V. with Pastors Larry Jenkins & Harry Midcap officiating.
