Betty Whipkey

Betty Louise Riggle Whipkey 93, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Friday December 19, 2019. Betty was born August 9, 1926 in Marshall County daughter of Henry and Dessie Strope Riggle. She was a member of the First Christian Church and attended the Clouston Methodist Church. Betty and her husband Carl were owner and operators of the Clouston Grocery for 30 years. A member of Order of Eastern Star.

Preceded in death by her husband Carl, and two sisters, Beulah McCracken and Shirley Stern. Survived by one son, Bruce (Terry) Whipkey of Cameron, W.V. and a special friend Evelyn Phillippi of Cameron, W.V. and sister-in-law Mary Ellen Whipkey of Wheeling, W.V. and several nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday December 23, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Dunn officiating at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, W.V.
