Chuck Woods

Charles Richard "Ice Man" Woods 57 of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Saturday December 21, 2019 in Ruby Memorial Hospital due to complications of a tragic car accident. Chuck was born August 24, 1962 in Glen Dale, W.V. son of Charles Milton & Ruth Ann Trayon Woods. He was a Navy Veteran. Worked for Ormet Chemical for 17 years. Chuck was a trainer and volunteered at the Wheeling Toughman Contest for 40 years, and also was "Iceman" a participant and a three time champion 1991, 1992 and 2001 in Martinsburg, W.V. one of the greatest fights ever fought. A Pittsburgh Steeler and WVU Fan, avid fisherman and loved playing dice with his momma, Preceded in death by his father, Charles Woods, and brother Clyde "Squeek" Burge. Survived by his mother Ruth Ann Trayon Woods, his children Leah Joy (Brian) Kestner, Jessie James Woods, Tucker (Megan) Brown, Amy Lee (Rick) Justus, Chas (Lexi) Woods, sisters, Judy (Gary) Hinerman of Glen Easton, W.V. Joyce (Scott) Hammaker of Thomasville, Pa. and Connie (Mike) Howard of Glen Easton, W.V. grandchildren, Braylon, Tyler, Owen, Talen, Mya, Harper, Tripp, Alaya, Ella and one on the way and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
