Onward Emmitt Burge

Onward Emmitt Burge 92, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Monday January 27, 2020 in Friendship Village of Dublin, Ohio. He was born February 2, 1927 in Cameron, W.V. son of the late Onward Burge and Fannie Hinerman Burge. Emmitt was a self-employed Insurance Agent. A lifetime member of the Cameron First Christian Church. A member of the Cameron Masonic Lodge # 17 A.F. & A.M. Also a Navy Veteran of World War ll Preceded in death by one sister Sarah Virginia Smith. Survived by his loving wife Sarah Lou Isiminger Burge, son Stephen (Judith) Burge, grandchildren, Sarah (Ev) and Andrew (Danielle) and great-great-grandchildren, Lulu and Quincy Meade. Family will receive friends Thursday January 30, 2020 at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, W.V. from 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Friday January 31, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Steven Jumper officiating. Interment in Highland Cemetery.
