Cheerful Jane Welling Pettit 83, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020 in Cameron Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born March 20, 1937 in Greene County, Pa. daughter of the late Lee and Cora Yoders Welling. A member of the Wolfe Run Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James Pettit, one son, David Wayne Pettit, siblings, Homer, Welling, Wayne Welling, Dutch Welling, Lester Welling, Wilbur Welling, and infant sister, Mae Morris. Survived by two daughters, Ellen (Ben) Allman of Cameron, W.V. and Lois (Gary) Sutor of Cleveland, Ohio; one son, Harry (Lori) Pettit of Cameron, W.V. one sister, Mary Van Norman of Sugar Grove, Pa. and one brother, Floyd Welling of Goshen, Ind. sister-in-laws, Ruby (Ronnie) Hoffman of Glen Easton, W.V. Alice (Carrol) Fox of West Flindley, Pa, grandchildren, Michael Shane (Julie Ann) Allman, Aron (Autumn Mayle) Allman, Rachel Ellen Sutor (Eric Spaeth), two great-grandchildren, Anna & Abby Allman and many nieces nephews. A private gravside service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Jimmy Higginson officiating.
