Carol Anderson

Carol Ann Flannery Anderson 78, of Cameron, W.V. passed away May 21, 2020 in Florida with her loving family by her side. Carol was born August 3, 1941 in Lothair, Ky daughter of the late Orville and Avanell Clemons Flannery . A Christian by faith.

During her earlier working years she was employed by Cameron Glass Company and worked for NASA in Chicago, Illinois as an assembler on Electrical components. Carol loved archery for three consecutive years she was Maryland's State Champion 74, 75, 76 . A member of the Lady Auxiliary American Legion Cameron Post #18 Served as President of the PTA and National Vice President of the PTA for many years. Carol enjoyed volunteering and was very active with Cameron High School and instrumental in organizing the after Prom Parties. She was an Amazing member of her community and loved her Cameron Dragons. she will be missed by many. Preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Robert Anderson and their infant twins, and son-in-law Ronnie Ross. Survived by one daughter Karen Ross of Cameron, son, Andy (Misty) Anderson of Ohio and their children, Carson, Kennedy and Judah Anderson Josie Ayers and "Bruce Ayers", four sisters, Judy (Sid) Bourgeois, Jean (Greg) Engler, Evelyn Flannery, Sharon (Randy) Brosius and brother, Brice (Robbie) Flannery all of Florida and sister-in-laws Joy Anderson of Cameron and Rose Ward of Pa. Joy Anderson of Cameron, W.V. and some nieces and nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, W.V. Saturday June 20, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. and Sunday June 21, 2020 from 11-3 p.m. Immediately following visitation everyone is cordially invited for food and fellowship at the Cameron Legion.
