Betty Lou "Red" Chambers

Betty Lou "Red" Neer Chambers 63, of Cameron, WV passed away Monday September 4, 2023. She was born July 14, 1960, in Pittsburgh, Pa.; daughter of the late Cecil & Wilma Jones Neer. Betty retired from Cameron Nursing & Rehab as a cook, A member of the Cameron American Legion #18 Ladies Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her parents, one son. John Joseph Chambers in 2019. Survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Victor Chambers; one son, Steven Chambers (Barb Burgess) one grandson, Ayden Broughton all of Cameron, WV; two sisters, Kathleen Loos of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Grace (Wayne) Smith of Valley Grove, WV; one brother, Cecil Neer Jr. of Georgia; and one special family friend, Tara Younkins and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Thursday September 7, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 Maple Ave. Cameron, WV where services will be held Friday September 8th, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Danny O'Neil. Interment in Beeler's Station Christian Church Cemetery.
