Bonnie Lou Whitlatch


Bonnie Lou Whitlatch, 83, passed away peacefully at home April 27, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born March 5, 1940 in Limestone, WV daughter of the late Roy and Esther Crow. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Harold "Bubbles" Olnick in 1966 and her second husband, Donald Whitlatch in 2019, son, Terry Olnick and four sisters, and two brothers. Paula Porter, Gail Miller, Nancy Lewis, Margaret Vega, Calvin Crow and her twin brother Donnie Crow. Survived by her children Tanya (Jim Moffitt) Yoho , Butch Whitlatch of Moundsville, WV; Tony Olnick of Umatilla, Fl; Tammy (Chuck) Jackson of Wellsburg and Dawn Noelle (Tom) Anzelone of New Brighton, Pa; sisters, Mary (Alfred) Beecher of Moundsville, WV and Carol (Mike) Whorton of New Martinsville, WV; grandchildren, Jason (Theron) Yoho, Lacey (Kevin) Greene, Destiny Fish, Noah Greenwood, Dezderea Fish and Mason Yoho; great-grandchildren, Maddie Long, Sophia Ashbey, Avery Greene, Douglas Greene, Arcata Williams, Gabby Yoho, Izzy Yoho, Lenxy Greenwood and Anais Greenwood and lastly, her faithful and fur companion, Bruno. Bonnie retired from Moundview Nursing Home with over 40 years of service in 2019 after deciding to stay home and care for her husband. She loved going to yard sales and flea markets. She was always looking for a bargain and usually found one. On one occasion, she went to a yard sale and bought everything there, including the house. For those who knew her, she will remembered for her feistiness and generosity, always there to help anyone who needed it. She played a huge part in raising her grandchildren, always making sure her family was well cared for. She leaves her family with beautiful memories and especially with the memory of her love. Bonnie's passing will be one of the deepest sorrow the family will ever know, but although she will be unseen, her presence will be felt, and she will always be by their sides.
