Cassandra Ovies Taylor

Cassandra Jo Ovies Taylor 74, of Moundsville, WV passed away Sunday May19, 2024. She was born July 28, 1949 in Wheeling, West Virginia daughter of the late Jose and Nancy Warren Ovies.  A Christian by faith.  She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post No. 3, Moundsville, W.V. She was employed at St. Francis Day Care Center in Moundsville and Northwood Health System for many years.  Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her companion and best friend, of 32 years, Michael Taylor, one daughter, Danielle "Dani" (Roger) Garrison, one son, James Joseph Corley, all of Moundsville, one sister, Toni (Mark) Parr of Loveland, Ohio; Cassandra lived life to its fullest and her greatest joy was her four grandchildren, Jhett, Jayaha, Lola, and RJ, two nieces, Vanessa, and Kristen.  A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
