Christy Holmes

Christy Ann Holmes 57, of Moundsville, W.V. passed away Thursday February 18, 2021 at home. She was born November 22, 1963 in Glen Dale, W.V. daughter of the late Frank Sr. & Shirley Burton Stocklask. A member of the Church of Nazarene of Moundsville. A Life time member of the Moundsville V.F.D. Christy was the 1st woman president and served for a two year term. Preceded in death by her parents , one grandson, Ethan Edwin Lee Holmes. Survived by her husband, Danny Holmes, one son, Daniel "Boo" (Danielle) Holmes, one sister, Mary (Chuck) Spaine, two brothers, Frank (Monica Rine) Stocklask and Matt Stocklask all of Moundsville, W.V. two grandsons, Aiden Ryan Jackson and Dade Daniel Holmes and several aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins. Family has ask that mask be worn as family receive friends Sunday February 21, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. services will be held Monday February 22, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at noon with Pastor Melissa Elliott officiating. Interment to follow in Valley Brooke Cemetery, Moundsville.
