"Together Again" 

Clyde Joseph McDiffitt 77, of Wheeling, W.V. passed away Sunday June 8, 2025, in Wheeling Hospital.  He was born May 24, 1948, in Glen Dale, W.V. son of the late Harry Alanzo and Lelah Pansy Wade McDiffitt.


He was a member of the Cornerstone Church of God.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was very proud to serve his country.  Retired from Marshall County Schools where he was a school bus driver with 25 years of service. Co-Owner of McDiffitts Bakery for 28 years. Their pepperoni roll business was more than just a job - it was a labor of love that brought joy to the entire valley   it was a blessing to their family and the community.  He could play any instrument by ear and loved being a bus driver he was a talented man who touched many lives, and his love for music and driving will be remembered forever he loved gardening and mowing grass also. 


Preceded in death by his parents, wife Karen Ann Lanoue McDiffitt, siblings, Little Harry, Forest, Truman, Virgil, Gerald, Margaret, Ruth, Orleda, Carol and Rose.


Survived by one daughter, Renee (Rick) Barcalow of Shadyside, Oh; and one son, Jeff (Makayla) McDiffitt of Marietta, Oh; grandchildren Olive and Josie McDiffItt and great grandchildren, Harper Handzus and Ezra Handzus, Siblings, Crystal Covey, Daisy (Charles) Wendt, Violet (George) Pelley, Vivian McDiffitt, Roger (Linda) McDiffitt and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and sisters-and brothers-in-law.  Visitation will be held Thursday June 12, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St Moundsville, W.V. with Pastor Ron Wilfong officiating. Burial in Halcyon Hills Memorial Garden.
