Dennis Jackson

 

Dennis Keith Jackson 77, of Clarksburg, W.V. passed away Sunday May 18, 2025, in Louis Johnson VA Medical Center.  He was born February 21, 1948, in Powhatan Point, Ohio son of the late Charles & Leona Love Jackson.  Dennis attended Chancey-Dover High School.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Dennis proudly served his county as a United States Army Veteran for 18 years; he served two terms in Vietnam and Desert Storm and also a Marine Sargent and served in the Iraq Freedom where he was a tunnel rat, Dennis was Lukes's hero, and he is following in his footsteps.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Cecelia Jackson, stepmother, Hazel Jackson, brother, Charles "Chuck" Jackson, sisters, Judy Sue, and Kimberly Orduna, brother-in-law, Stanley Allman. Survived by one son, Melvin (Anna Marie) Jackson, brother, Tom (Dea Raye) Redmon, sister, Cheryl Allman, granddaughters, Lakesha and great-granddaughter, Kailey, and special nephews, Robert Allman and his wife Kim, and Michael Allman and his fiancé Natalie, and several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday May 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Halcyon Hills Memorial Garden with Pastor Tom Redmon officiating.  The Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard will conduct military Honors. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V.
