Donna "Cookie" Wade Estel

Donna Mae 'Cookie' Wade Estel, 69, of Moundville, W.V., passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. She was born August 17, 1956, in Glen Dale, W.V. daughter of the late Robert & Donna Marie Williamson Wade.

She was a Christian by faith. A member of the Moundsville VFW Auxiliary #437, and a member of the West Virginia Wildlife Gaming Club. Donna worked as a Medical Assistant for over 20 years and also as a Bartender. She enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Victor Jean and Rocci Lee Wade, and one nephew, Owen Neff.

Survived by her husband, Doug Estel of 11 years, one daughter, Jade Cain of Moundsville, W.V.; one son, Chad Wade, two sisters, Kelli Jo Estep and Carla Etcher, three brothers, Robert 'Rusty' Wade, Richard 'Red' (Carla) Wade, and Robert 'Bobby' Wade all of Moundsville, W.V. Four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Mina, Cierra and two great-grandchildren, Evangeline and Arabella and many other beloved family members and friends.

Family will receive friends Friday, August 22, 2025, from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1109 2nd St., Moundsville, W.V. Interment at the convenience of the family.  Family  & Friends are cordially invited for food and fellowship immediately after services for a potluck dinner if anyone would like to contribute or attend.
