Dr. Thomas Haverfield

Dr. Thomas Neil Haverfield, 86, of Moundsville, W,V; passed away September 13, 2023 at home. He was born February 23, 1937 in Steubenville, Ohio; son of the late Dr. A.O. Haverfield and Grace Miley Haverfield. Preceded in death also by his brothers, Alfred "Sonny" Haverfield and Richard "Dick" Haverfield and sister, Jane Haverfield Baz. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara Nelson Haverfield; children, Natasha Haverfield of Moundsville, WV and Gage (Shanin) Haverfield of Canton, Oh; grandchildren, Camden Haverfield, Clay Haverfield and Claudia Haverfield. Tom graduated from the Ohio State School of Agriculture and College of Veterinary Medicine of 1966. He worked from the State of WV for several years and then opened a practice as a self-employed Veterinarian. He was a Masonic University Lodge #631 member in Columbus, Ohio. Tom enjoyed the outdoors and had several hobbies that allowed him to enjoy those pursuits. He also volunteered for several years at the seeing Hand Blind Camo in Bethesda, Ohio. A member of the Limestone Presbyterian Church. A Celebration of life will be held October 14, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Limestone Presbyterian Church.
