 Glen Kermit Wendt 91, of Cameron, W.V. passed away Thursday May 22, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 22, 1934, in Cameron, W.V. son of the late Arthur and Mary Earnest Wendt.  A member of the Big Run Christian Church for 82 years. Retired Engineer from W.T.A.E. Television in Pittsburgh, Pa. for over 20 years of service. Kermit was a husband, dad, brother, uncle, grandfather and a friend to everyone. He was the Valedictorian of his class from Cameron High School. Preceded in death by his parents, and first wife, Eldora Woodruff Wendt. 


Survived by his wife, Marilyn Mercer Wood Wendt, one daughter, Marilyn (Louis) Horacek of Moundsville, W.V. one son, Donald R. Wendt of Somerset, Pa.,one sister, Mary Evelyn (Paul) Garey and one brother, Charles (Daisy) Wendt all of Moundsville, W.V. two step-daughters, Cheryl (David) Schefsky and Lisa (Mathew) Garrison; two stepsons, Donald Wood Jr. all of Moundsville, W.V.  and Raymond Joseph (Dawna) Wood of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; three grandchildren, Libby and Caroline Horacek and Samantha (Albert) Wilson; seven step grandchildren, Donald lll, Amber (Dre), Keith, Kyle (Erin), Alex (Jackie), Tyler, and Trevor; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and some cousins.


Family will receive friends Monday May 26, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. till 7 at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St. Moundsville, W.V. Tuesday May 27, 2025, at the Big Run Christian Church, Cameron, W.V.  from11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Earl Shaw officiating. Interment at Big Run Cemetery immediately after.
