With a heavy heart our Father Jack Keith Hubbs Jr. passed away August 4th, 2025. He was born in Cameron, WVA on February 19,1947 to Jack Keith Hubbs and Patsy “Pat” Hubbs.

He was drafted into the United States Army at the young age of 19 and served his country in the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Korea and Germany and ending his career in Texas. He wasn’t the typical Military Man that talked about his time in the Military. He shielded us on what he saw and what he endured during that era. He then was a Mechanic for some time and then before retiring he worked in Maintenance.

He decided to go back home to Cameron, WVA for a quiet living. His most accomplishment was being a loving Father who taught us how to swim, fish, shoot guns while listening to country music (Hank Williams was his favorite). He gave us what he grew up on, that little town feeling of family and adventure. He had the best sense of humor which he passed down to all of us. He was a patient and kind man who never forgot to say, “ I love you” As grandkids and great grandkids came along, he gave them little nicknames, never forgot to send a Birthday Card and loved seeing how much each one grew. He never made it feel like we were miles away.

He was a loving pet owner who made sure the treats were non-stop. Our Dad will be terribly missed and loved but the memories will continue to play in our hearts and minds.  He was preceded in death by his parents Jack & Patsy Hubbs and a sister Lori Hubbs-Tebor.

He is survived by his sister Terri and brother in law Dave McKenzie of East Sparta, OH, his 4 brothers, Thomas Hubbs of Cameron, WVA, Stephen Hubbs of Wintersville, OH; Michael Hubbs of Ellsworth, OH; and Mark Hubbs and sister in law Leann Loy Hubbs of North Webster, IN ;  He is also survived by his 2 children Luke Hubbs and daughter in law Tammy Hubbs of Salado, Texas  Lisa Hubbs-Ramos and son in law David Ramos of Nolanville, Texas; 5 Grandchildren, David Jr Ramos of Austin, Texas, Arceilia Ramos of Nolanville, Texas, Katrina Ramos of Austin, Texas, Tyler Hubbs of Salado, Texas and Kylee LaCanne of Salado, Texas  and 5 Great Grandchildren, Elicia, Ileana, Annalee, Haylee and Aaron. Jack will be deeply missed by all who knew his he was a friend to everyone he met. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services Cameron, WV.
