Larry Davis

Larry Joseph “Smokey” Davis 75, of Moundsville, WV passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021. Larry was born September 13, 1945 to John Grant Davis and Hattie Merl Lancaster Davis. Smokey retired from Quarter#4 Mine in 1999. He also was employed for NAPA in Moundsville for a few years. On June 9, 1970 Smokey, married Sarah Crow, as a team, they were devoted to caring for family members including his brothers, parents and mother-in-law. In later years, he was a loving caregiver to his wife. He never met a stranger he loved flea markets and collecting marx toys. Preceded in death By three sisters and five brothers. Survived by his wife, one brother, John (Joann) Davis Newark, OH. At Smokey’s request there will be no visitation or services.
